Becoming a flight instructor requires more than technical flying skill—you must be able to demonstrate accurately, explain clearly, and coach effectively under pressure. Our FI(A) program builds structured teaching technique, strong safety culture, and standardisation. You will develop high-quality briefings and debriefings, lesson planning discipline, and practical strategies for managing student errors and workload. Refresher training supports standardisation and restores instructional confidence.
FI(A) Initial includes
- Teaching and learning fundamentals (briefing structure, coaching, feedback)
- Demonstration quality flying and error management
- Lesson planning, progress tracking, and standard profiles
- Safety culture and instructional decision-making
Refresher / standardisation
- Recurrent instructional technique and standard profiles
- Updates on procedures, best practices, and training risks
